Crew 4 Posts | I recently thought about all of the unreleased Items and unfinished quests that are currently in the game. After I had some ideas about the Cerhan Quest in the Graveyard Inn, I messaged Micksha and we talked about it for a while. We thought that everyone would enjoy some new content in the game.
Right now Cerhan just tells you that he needs resouces for his "smithy" in the GY Inn and when you have 'Myralin Dust' on you he tells you that he can make strong Armor from it. Mick told me that the art for Bromenal Armor was already added into the game but it is still unobtainable. After some talk we came up with this:
-When you first talk to him he asks you for some remaining parts of his smithy. You can give these to him and the next part of the quest unlocks.
-Since you helped him with his smithy he offers his services for half price. You just have to give him the resouces. He can make you a Bromenal Helmet from a Warlord Helmet, a Bromenal Chest from the Chainmail Chest, a pair Bromenal Gloves from Leather Gloves, Bromenal Legs from Jeans Chaps, and Bromenal Boots from Warlord Boots.
We thought that it should be better than normal Warrior Equipment but we dont want to make it overpowered. So we need your opinion for the price and the stats of Bromenal Armor. So get creative! :D I am happy about any feedback/opinions. If there is anything new or something I will post that as a comment under this post. |

Crew 4 Posts | Whats more important is what stats the new armor is going to have. It has to be balanced. Please post some interesting ideas here. You don't have to be specific on the stats, but general ideas would be really helpful |
Officiers 12 Posts | These of course is merely my opinion 😃, so here goes:
Bromenal Helmet: Defense +20 Magic attack -15
Bromenal Chest: Defense +30 Magic attack -120
Bromenal Gloves: Defense +5 Magic attack -10
Bromenal Legs: Defense +10 Magic attack -12
Bromenal Boots: Defense +8 Magic attack -10 |
Quartermasters 8 Posts | Basically I go with John, but as each of the items is supposed to require the Mylarin Dust which is gotten only once per alt, it should give some special stats enabling interesting builds if the whole set is achieved. I propose following:
Helmet: Def + 20, M.Def. +20 Chest: Def + 25, M.att. -120, vit +2 Gloves: Def + 5, M.att. -10, str +2 Legs: Def + 10, M.att. -12, luk +2 Boots: Def + 7, M.att. -10, agi +2
Also, I would change the prices a bit, in the way to make the ones with cheap base equipment much more expensive, like Gloves -> 100.000gp and Chest only 50.000gp, and Legs -> 80.000gp. With the items required I am basically fine. |
Crew 4 Posts | Just some minor adjustments to the stats of Bromenal Armor:
Helmet: Def + 20, M.Def. +20 Chest: Def + 26, M.att. -100, luk +2 Gloves: Def + 5, M.att. -10, str +2 Legs: Def + 10, M.att. -12, vit +2 Boots: Def + 7, M.att. -10, agi +2
Price:
Helmet: 50.000gp Chest: 80.000gp Gloves: 100.000gp Legs: 100.000gp Boots: 80.000gp
Prices are good like this bc each armor piece has its own advantages and is quite powerful in the correct build imo. |
Officiers 12 Posts | Maybe they can't add a crafting quest, but could they redo the stats? That way they could be a GM event reward |
